Last week, the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association (AARDA) and Let
My Doctors Decide (LMDD) hosted a webinar to discuss the real-life challenges
that patients, physicians, and many others experience when it comes to accessing
treatments through their insurance company and pharmacy benefit manager. They
reminded us of the harmful practices that companies use every day -- from step therapy
to limiting cost assistance programs to non-medical switching, rebate walls, and other
